Cosy cottage (Pen Lon Las) is part of the east wing of Albro Castle workhouse situated in its own valley overlooking the Teifi Estuary. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside with the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path at the end of our lane. Poppit beach is a 15 minutes walk away and the Preseli Mountains a 20 minute drive. St.Dogmaels is a pretty village with a local produce market every Tuesday, brilliantly stocked shop for essentials and the Ferry Inn pub just a 5 minute walk form us.

The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

We are located 100yds from main coastal road, close to Cardigan bay, where there are dolphins and seals. Close by are Cwmtydu, New Quay, Llangranog and other small bays. The towns of Aberaeron and Cardigan are either side of us. The apartment has a dining room , kitchenette, shower room and bedrooms upstairs. The larger television and sitting area is downstairs. The garden, washing machine and drying/airing room are shared areas. We do not allow pets. Nor smoking inside the apartment

Great for walking, cycling, horse riding, wild swimming. 20min drive to Aberystwyth for castle, pier, beaches, bars, excellent restaurants, Museum and Arts Centre.

The Stowaway is located on the cliff in the beautiful fishing village of New Quay, right on the coastal path. This delightful shepherd's hut situated on our smallholding in West Wales (lovingly built using low impact and reclaimed materials), offers a fantastic base to explore the nearby beaches, mountains and other attractions. The thoughtfully furnished interior includes a super comfy double bed, simple kitchen and cosy woodburner. Outside is a large decking area, your own unique walk in spiral shower and a separate compost loo.
