The location is along the Italian border so you can visit Slovenian and Italian places which are accessible within an hour's drive: Soča river, Lipica, Postojnska and Škocjanska cave, Goriška Brda (wine region), Piran, Sistiana, Trieste, Grado, Venice.

Dark starry nights, moonlit or Milky Way, silent or animal sounds! Village life is a 10min meadow walk. In summer a cosy traditional bar/cafe serves home-cooked food.

Additional payment: Tourist tax 2,50 € / person / day is payable at check-in. For children up to 7 years old is free. For children from 7 to 18 years old is 1,25 € / day.

Other features are wi-fi, air conditioning system and a small private balcony.

The new cabin is situated at a pacefull location the end of the willage Črni vrh (Black pick). The unspoilt nature away the city bustle but still close the willage conjures up a unique experience. Here you can enjoy the peace quite and fresh air. But you can also explore the surroundings, ride, bike, hiking and ski in the winter time at the local ski center Bor. House On The Hill is situated on Idrijske Krnice plateau (1000 m a.s.l.), 12 km away from the old mining town of Idrija UNESCO. The idylic house is surounded with concrete bunkers (one with a sauna place* and second with selected wines) built by Italian army. Carefully selected interior, with close attention to local, natural materials and hand made furniture, creates a welcoming athmosphere. The house is perfect for anyone who enjoys peace and nature, loves hiking, cycling or fly fishing.
