Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). You’ll love Die Blouhuis because of the uniqueness of staying in a old-styled farm house. It is remote and therefor very peaceful, private and safe - perfect retreat for couples, solo adventurers and families, especially kids.

The property is a smallholding with a main house and additional cottage. It is home to three horses and our much-loved cat after whom Kingston cottage is named.
