Off Royal Mile Edinburgh, lovely 2 bedroom flat

This apartment is in a very central and safe location in Old Fishmarket by St Giles. 5 mins walk to top attractions such as the National Museum of Scotland, Festival Theatre, the Castle. Waverley Station is 10 minutes walk. The Meadows and to George Street and the Newtown beyond are easy to reach. Very suitable for sightseers, old and young. Not a party flat but my second home when working in Edinburgh and so it is not a hotel style offering but I am sure you will love it. New kitchen in 2025

Large Georgian flat by new St James Quarter

YOU NEED TO KNOW that building construction work on Edinburgh's new concert hall is ‘scheduled’ to finally start in spring 2026 (funding issues) and might cause disturbance at the flat. The site is close to our building. They will work from 8am until 6pm, and from 8am to 1pm on Saturday and Sunday. (Occasionally there will be noise before 8am). If you feel you cannot tolerate the disturbance and it will impinge on your stay please look elsewhere. St James Square is just off Princes Street.

We are within walking distance of most of Edinburgh's “must sees” like Calton Hill and Arthur's Seat. We have a fantastic bakery right across the street and are close to public transport. Our beautiful, sun filled, cosy apartment dates from the late 18th Century, and is situated on the historic Royal Mile which stretches from Edinburgh Castle to The Palace of Holyrood. It is in an ideal location to explore our wonderful city. It is situated on the third floor and on one side has superb views of the Edinburgh landscape such as Calton Hill with its eclectic collection of monuments, on the other the Royal Mile itself - a great place to watch the pageantry at Festival time.
