Down a short cul-de-sac laneway with lots of trees and pleasant countryside. We have cows , sheep and playful lambs in the Spring. ! The bedroom area upstairs is divided into two bedrooms. Plenty of birdsong! Cat's Barn is the name, but don't worry...you won't be sleeping with cats !

Tigín (tigeen-small house) with two bedrooms and a kitchen/living room area. This is a small cosy space with solid fuel heating. The bedrooms have two king size beds. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, etc. The toilet/wetroom has an Triton T90SR electric shower. There is a TV with saoirview channels. The tigín is beside our house. Less than 20 minutes from Kilkenny city and very close to Ballykeefe amphitheatre. 5 minutes drive to callan.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
