A location fit for those wishing to explore the Lakes, whilst also experiencing Kendal's town centre. An allocated parking space is provided directly outside the cottage for convenience. Dogs are very welcome

The Den is a unique space within the Lake District - a Scandinavian BBQ cabin. A large BBQ pit in the centre to sit around provides a cosy relaxing evening space, and a place to cook! WiFi, Fridge, Microwave, Kettle & Coffee Machine. Bedding provided. Recently upgraded bathroom facilities! Private shower, toilet and sink, exterior but right next to The Den. 8 minutes by car to Windermere, 5 minutes to Kendal. Easy access to a bus stop and cycle lane. Adults only. Sorry but no pets.

Smithy Cottage - Cosy Lake District retreat

When you climb the external stone staircase and open the front door you will find a perfectly formed cosy cottage conveniently laid out on one floor. It’s full of history and character, with beamed lounge and wooden floors. It is the perfect place to relax with family and friends after a busy day exploring the Lake District. Just 4 miles from Windermere. Bus route 555 stops very near.

The Mount - Kendal

The Mount is a newly refurbished stylish apartment that is part of No 10 Mount Pleasant, a former private girls finishing school. Mount Pleasant and The Mount building is over 200 years old. Situated in Kendal town centre (there's a two minute walk down the hill into town) the Mount is surrounded by local greens and parkland and to the west of the building boasts a beautiful golf course, fell and woodland for keen walkers. Within 100 meters there is a welcoming traditional drinking pub.

Scenic walks over limestone Scars from the doorstep. Comfortable double bed, single bunk above with limited head space. Kendal is an attractive market town with an eclectic range of shops, cafes, restaurants. There is a designated parking space for one vehicle beside the hut Bikes can be secured in the log shelter.

Braeside Studios is a detached stone built building adjacent to our family home. We have 2 purpose built, self contained studios each with private entrance door, ensuite shower room, drying cupboard, mini breakfast kitchenette (fridge, sink, kettle, toaster) and seating area. Both our rooms are clean and contemporary and focus of comfort and practicality. The garden view room has a double bed and the riverside room has a king sized bed. You are welcome to share our garden.
