We are located 5 minutes from the Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park. We are just far enough out of town to enjoy the peacefulness of nature, but close enough for all of the conveniences. You will have your own, SEPARATE ENTRANCE and space for your privacy, but the OWNERS STILL LIVE IN THE HOME & host other guests in the basement. You will hear us and our 3 DOGS moving around our home. This space has 4 beds that are upstairs. There is also a pool (NOT heated) that you are welcome to use.

Mount Olive Lodge | Luxury in the trees!

Mount Olive Lodge is a renovated two-story, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom cabin perched on the side of Bryce Mountain with spectacular wintertime (and partial summertime) views of Great North Mountain. Enjoy the outdoors on two stacked 1/2 wrap-around decks! Huge windows and doors show off nature's glory everywhere you look. this cabin is about 0.7 miles from the Resort’s main lodge and ski/bike lifts, and a 2.4 mile drive to Lake Laura, Smiley's Ice Cream, Burn Barrel tavern & Pale Fire Brewing.

Only 90 miles from Washington, D.C. Just 5 miles from Downtown Luray, Luray Caverns, and local conveniences. Only 13 miles from the Thornton Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park. Enjoy breathtaking mountain and river views right from the deck and screened in porch. Listen to the sound of the river which soothes the soul and nourishes the spirit. We welcome well behaved dogs for an additional $50 fee per stay. Please keep your dog on a leash. Limit of two. Sorry no cats, penalty is $200.

Cedar Creek Wayside Castle

1930 Stone House 'Mini Castle' on 9 private acres near Strasburg Virginia bordering Cedar Creek Battlefield and Belle Grove Plantation National Park. Home was built by Otis Elevator company in 1930 for their daughter. You have nature trails and fire pit, swimming pool (opened April 15th), deer and wildlife too. Short walk to historic Ceder Creek. Full estate is yours to play and relax. No dogs in pool. Pool is open early April to early October usually. Hot tub is ready year round.

This house was purchased and furnished to be a vacation rental, from the coffee maker to the outdoor pool with a view. Luray has been our home, our escape, and our happy place for some time and we are excited to be able to share this town with you and your family. The house is large with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, beautiful views, and an above-ground pool. We are conveniently located near Lake Arrowhead, Luray Caverns, and Shenandoah National Park.
