Just a 16 minute drive to downtown Washington DC, with a chef's kitchen and a relaxing great room. The house is also just a 10 minute drive to the new MGM Casino or the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center at National Harbor. The "no parties in house" rule is strictly followed. The Patent House is a part of the Little River inn in Aldie, Virginia and we have been in business for 36 years. A full breakfast is included in your stay, we use local meats, eggs and serve everything from French toast, to quiche, to Dutch apple baby. The Patent House is located across the driveway from the Main House where breakfast is served. There is a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom attached, a living space and a working wood burning fireplace.

The Alton Cottage is a charming, newly refurbished 1820s guest house- formerly a summer kitchen to the original farm house. Views are of rolling fields and their bovine occupants.
