The Ranch House cabin (2020)at Old Desperado Ranch has a rustic western cowboy theme. The stone fireplace (electric) was hand made with local rocks from the creeks and rivers. The two bedroom cabin is very spacious and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Just bring your food! The cabin is dog friendly, see pet policy. Windy’s Will pick you up for your float from your cabin. Be sure to check our other cabins- bunk house, tiny house. Trailrides available by reservation.

Come have a relaxing weekend and enjoy the beautiful countryside. As we are located somewhere around 12 to 15 miles out of town. We have a TV and DVD player so bring your favorite movies. There is a Redbox at the Dollar General in town. We offer an outside fire pit with some lighting. We are located close to the 11 point river, and Mark Twain National Forest. Cozy new built cabin on a bend of the beautiful Black River. You’ll walk up the 14 stairs to a large screened in covered deck with hot tub and sitting area, and gas grill. The glass doors and windows allow you views of the river. The theme throughout is Indian-Aztec. Accommodates only two adults. If you’re looking for a peaceful/romantic get away this is the perfect place. Located approximately 2 hours south of St. Louis, and less than 15 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO.

Our cabin sleeps six people with a queen size bed, one set of bunk beds, full size blow-up mattress, and a loveseat. We are about a mile and a half from Whitten Access.
