We are near to the English/Scottish Border, Lake District and only 10 minutes from the Hadrian's Wall path, making us a prefect base for a get away or stop off. Also we are only 5 mins from the M6 from Junction 44.

We are dog friendly! We are also child friendly! Ghyllie Cottage is a two bedroom, two bathroom cottage that is over 200 years old! Wetheral is just 3 miles from junction 42 on the M6 and the village has great amenities including a Village Shop and post office, Cafe, and a great pub just across the road! Wetheral Railway Station is a short walk from the cottage with regular trains to Carlisle and Newcastle. Easy access to Gretna Green, the Lake District, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
