'The Vestry' is an 1846 church building, now a delightful studio cottage for couples, families or business trips with easy access to Manchester airport/city. On the edge of the Peak District it includes a comfortable double bed, 2 single beds on the mezzanine. Relax in front of the wood burning stove, or on the lovely rear deck overlooking our brook and woodland. It’s an easy 5 minute walk to the village with great pubs, shops and restaurants. With a brilliant farm shop and cafe opposite and the local pub two minute walk away. Barely a mile away is Golcar, where you can find shops, food & restaurants, pubs & a pharmacy. There is an abundance of great walking in the area and the 13 mile long Colne Valley way passes right by us.
