Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

It is, however, a fabulous spot for a relaxing retreat into the countryside, with the open Peak District right on the doorstep.

Due to the potential dangers we ask that guests do not access the yard and use the designated path to the cottage. The setting of this cosy small detached cottage is beautiful and you feel quite secluded, yet the village of Edale is 1 minute walk away. From here you can enjoy the countryside by walking or biking, short or longer routes.
