We've hosted lovely folks from all over the world since 2017 in our family home--and now, we embark on a renovation journey. Changes for 2/1/26 + New sleeping arrangement; double-bunk bed replaced with 1 King bed + House capacity changes from 10 to 8 + Upgrading living room sofas and chairs + Repainting 3 rooms This is just the start of a broader vision we expect to complete by 2028. A hidden gem in the heart of the Black Hills, our cabin is nestled on 3 private acres lovingly named Squirrel Hill. With decks in every direction, you're encouraged to take in the abundance of nature. Watch for deer, turkey, birds and squirrels. Relax under the pines in the hot tub or on the deck featuring a gas firepit and 10-person table. Inside, you'll find everything you need for a well-appointed getaway. Worlds away from the hustle & bustle of real life; just 10 minutes west of Rapid City.

Reato House--Cozy comfort away from home, HOT TUB!

This house is a comfy, cozy, 2 bedroom, 1 bath house built in the early 1900's and recently updated. It is in the heart of the Black Hills, minutes from Deadwood. It is close to skiing and snowmobiling in the winter; hiking, sightseeing and fishing in the summer. The deck overlooking Lead offers a space in the sun or a covered portion for shade. Four person hot tub and fireplace makes the end of day so relaxing! Be aware, there are 32 stairs from street to house. Trailer parking available.

Two sisters with a love for design renovated a small cabin into this cozy space for guests intending to explore the beautiful Black Hills. Two bedrooms, both containing queen beds, one of these adjustable, the other with a fold-out chair for extra space if needed. One level, open floor plan with a large comfortable sectional that will also pull out into a bed if additional sleeping space is needed. Outdoor fire pit and grill available for your use. Fully stocked kitchen to make you feel right at home while enjoying the Black Hills.

Adorable loft carriage house with hot tub

This is the original carriage house from 1892 that has been converted into living quarters with a small fenced in outdoor space. The cozy cottage is made up of two levels. On the floor level, is a small kitchen, bathroom, and sitting area with gas fire place (love seat pulls out to a single bed). On the second level, via a narrow steep hayloft staircase, is a king bed, tv, and private balcony. This quaint space is the perfect get away.
