We are a small family run business - Baleshare Bothies - consisting of two cosy, self-catering, glamping pods. This listing is for our pod called Hiort, which is dog friendly. We are situated in the peaceful crofting community of Baleshare, North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, and located a short walk from the shore of Baleshare Beach, where there are breath-taking views. Each pod is hired out separately, however you are welcome to book the two pods at the same time depending on availability.

This secluded luxury getaway boasts 2 kingsize bedrooms, shower room, games room and kitchen/living room, with world class views over the loch to the Cuillin Hills, Talisker cliffs and Isle of Rhum. This shore front property offers a private garden and parking as well as direct access to shore and walks. Great for watching local wildlife. This is a self catering accommodation and the kitchen is stocked with all cooking facilities as well as some basic food, so on arrival you can just relax.

The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Twiggy

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these cosy wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts offer an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Welcome to Heatherbell. The pod is a perfect getaway for 2, with everything you could need and is just 5 minutes drive from Lochboisdale ferry terminal. Heatherbell is a fantastic base for exploring our stunning landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy the splendid sunsets from the decking. In late summer it is surrounded by lovely purple heather which grows freely and abundantly spreading its glorious purple hues across our hills and glens. This is one of two glamping pods at Croftend Glamping.

The Oystercatcher

The Oystercatcher is a garden chalet situated in Roag in the North West of Skye. Roag is a quiet area of Skye with incredible views looking towards the Cuillin ridge. The Oystercatcher has one of the best views on the Island and the sunrises are unforgettable. It is the perfect base for those wishing to get away for a relaxing holiday and is close enough to drive to all of Skye's main tourist attractions without being busy. The master bedroom with en suite shower room/toilet is on the ground floor with a view over the Loch and a small double and a single upstairs. There is also another toilet downstairs. In view of the bed/bathroom facilities the house is perhaps best suited to either a couple/a couple with younger children.
