Mars Hill Farm Tiny House Cottage

This tiny cottage is nestled behind an old farm house on a 100 acre working farm just 25 mins south of Downtown Dallas. The 200 square foot space features a detached / shared bathroom connected by the front porch with beautiful stock tank soaker tub. Inside there is a bunk-room complete with full and twin size beds, a cozy loft with a queen mattress, and quaint living room with futon, electric kettle, microwave, and mini fridge. If you need a place to escape the hustle and bustle this is it!

My cabin is a hidden gem in Urbandale, a neighborhood only 15 minutes from downtown that's filled with unique architecture, old trees, and multicultural flavor. Crafted from pine felled and hand-planed in Boone, NC, the cabin has a wonderful smell and unique aesthetic. It's like a woodcutter's home deep in the woods, yet sits safely in my verdant backyard. Less than 1 hr from Dallas Love Field and DFW Airport, this quaint cottage is just outside of downtown Ennis, the Bluebonnet City. Built in 1910, the house features 2 bedrooms, comfortable living room and fully stocked kitchen. While the cottage comes with everything needed to enjoy your "staycation", shopping and dining are just a stroll away. A short drive away discover Galaxy drive-in theater, Sugar Ridge Winery, Texas Motorplex, Bardwell Lake, and the BluebonnetTrail.

Used for movie sets and artists' inspiration! Step back in time to the cozy comfort of grandmas farm house! Remember being able to fully relax, knowing that grandma was there to watch over you and you had not ONE care in the world? Take a break from "life" and spend a little R&R in this cozy farm cottage! Quiet, private location with livestock roaming the 13 acres it sits on and it's in the city limits of Corsicana.

Cute cabin located on a working farm. Enjoy the horses and cows grazing right outside. Comfortable 2 bedrooms with a sleeping loft for the kids (horizontal only for adults). Hosts live on the same property so we will usually be available if you need anything during your stay. We prefer a low-distraction lifestyle, but a TV is available on request. Limited outdoor space available.

This guest suite is located within close proximity to Kaufman (12 minutes), Crandall (10 minutes) and Scurry TX (6 minutes). With only a short 40 minute drive to downtown Dallas, it offers the perfect location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for a day trip to Dallas.
