The old farm building has been recently renovated featuring a spacious open plan living, a kitchen which is fitted with all main appliances & dining area & 2 bedrooms (1 en suite). We are situated near historical areas such as Béal na Bláth Ambush & Kilmichael Ambush & also 1 mile away from the village where you can enjoy a night out and lovely pizzas in the pub.

Urban Tranquilatree

Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg. This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

The space has an open lounge style kitchen with ample space with all kitchen amenities provided . There is cool art we have collected from our travels all over the world.

The Still Retreat

The Still Retreat is a private, self-contained apartment attached to our family home, located just 10 minutes from Killarney town in the heart of Muckross. The “retreat” is equipped with a sauna, ice bath, outdoor shower and fire pit overlooking Mangerton Mountain. Perfect for hikers, outdoor enthusiasts or individuals just looking to relax and escape to the countryside. Rustic Cottage in a rural setting. YOU WILL NEED A CAR. (We will accommodate guests without a car and arrange prior to pick up and drop off when possible.) Mount Kid Cottage is off the beaten path near the stunning Wild Atlantic Way route. Secluded and tranquil, we are 90 minutes minutes from Cork Airport, 2 hours west of Cork city and a 15 min DRIVE from Ballydehob. Surrounded by working farms on 4 acres; an oasis of trees and home to a variety of bird life.

The Storehouse and stables on a working dairy farm

Come and experience life on a working dairy farm and you can even help milk the cows if you'd like to. The cottage has all the conveniences of a modern home including a washing machine, oven, electric hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. It has oil central heating. We have free wifi for your use. The Storehouse is located on the grounds of our family home at the rear of the property. It is accessed via our farm laneway and an electric gate.
