The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

Gem Cottage is a traditionally built stone cottage with modern interior set on the shores of the Cromarty Firth. Situated with easy access to the NC500 and on the National Cycle Route, Rowan Cabin is a ‘Summerhouse’ in our garden which we have transformed into self catering accommodation. It enjoys views to Fyrish and the West and a minute’s walk to our Loch . The cabin has well appointed kitchen, bathroom and comfortable living space with a steep stair to a low height sleeping area. The cabin has a deck to be enjoyed. This peaceful cabin is ideally situated for exploring the Highlands.

Otter Lodge Rosehaugh Estate, unique self-catering

Otter Lodge is an imposing stone building set in the valley below the lake, close to the Horseshoe Falls. It used to be the ‘Powerhouse’ supplying electricity to the Estate, and the water which used to power the turbines can still be seen running beneath the house! Derelict and roofless for many years, it was lovingly restored into an elegant self-catering holiday home. Accommodation is entirely on the ground floor, making it accessible for those with limited mobility.

The Coach House at Manse House

Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome.
