Come and see our cabin nestled in a secluded location that is within close proximity to recreational activities and restaurants that will surely please a couple or an entire family. You can enjoy horseback riding trails nearby, hiking trails, golf courses, local parks, and fine dining or a cozy campfire in the evenings to end your day with story-telling and laughter that will last for many years. There is excellent cellphone service, and centrally located between Charleston and Huntington, WV.

In the past our Cellar House was home to canned garden vegetables, potatoes, and apples. Today up to 2 guests can enjoy their relaxing farm visit in the newly renovated yet rustic upper room. Hiking on property. Located near Elk River State Park for a day of Biking, river swimming, & Kayaking. Near Rail Explorers USA in Clay County. Drive the back road to New River National Park for an adventure. This room is set up for a short visit or a long stay. Hot homemade fresh breakfast included.

Spot a trout swimming in the creek during the day and let the rapids sooth you to sleep at night. You are likely to see deer, squirrels, and turkey wondering the forest. This is the most quiet and peaceful location you will find that is still a 5 mile radius from the major park attractions.

Walking distance to Hawks Nest State Park, The New River Gorge National Park and just a few miles from Fayetteville. This is a beautiful rustic hunting theme cabin! The cabin was newly built in the summer of 2016! The cabin sets on 20 private acres for an additional fee that is available to be hunted and is located minutes away from 11,000 acres of public hunting and fishing(Crown City Wildlife Area)! Whatever your trip we will help make your stay memorable! Absolutely NO PETS ALLOWED! NO ACCEPTIONS! If a pet is brought to the residence I will charge extra fees and ask you to remove the pet.

Dogwood Lane Retreat

Enjoy your visit to the New River Gorge Park and Preserve by staying at this luxury log cabin in the woods. This cabin is located south of downtown Fayetteville but convenient to all recreational activities. The cabin boasts a cathedral ceiling in the living room with lots of windows letting in the evening light. The wrap around porch provides ample seating to enjoy the environment. An outdoor fireplace and separate fire pit allow you to keep warm on spring and fall nights.
