The Little House in the Heart of Concordia

Our Little House started its life as a 2-car garage, on the alley behind our home, that we transformed into our vision of a cozy and peaceful retreat. This light filled studio is professionally designed, features art from local artists and designers, and is equipped with heating & AC, making it a very comfortable spot to relax and enjoy Portland. You'll have a fully detached private guest house with a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor space and be two blocks away from the vibrant Alberta district.

The upstairs loft suite includes 1.5 bathrooms, with a small pull-out couch in the living room as an additional (but limited) sleeping option. Located in the heart of NE Portland, you’ll be walking distance to Alberta Street, Mississippi Avenue, and the N. Williams Corridor, and less than 2.5 miles from downtown and the Pearl District. The space is fully private & separate, perfect for experiencing the real Portland.

We offer an elegant, cozy, private guest room with private ensuite bathroom, it's own private entrance and private arbored deck. The carrera marble bath tiles are heated for winters, and the deck and garden have seating areas for summer. Like a little hotel room, this queen-bed suite is ideal for 1 or 2 who would like an entirely separate space, but don't need a full kitchen. The room features microwave, mini-fridge, teakettle & basic flatware - ideal for simple breakfasts or reheated leftovers.

Take a stroll around the award winning (and oldest) rose garden in the City of Roses across the street in Peninsula Park. At home, this second story studio has extra space in the meditation loft, a full kitchen, fast internet, and projector for streaming. Built to feel like a little touch of luxury, with the quaintness and quality of a craft home. This place is a true sneak-away with a two person soaking tub, marble shower, king tempurpedic bed and a fully stocked kitchen. This open studio has 15 ft ceilings allowing ample sunlight and a large, light feeling. This house was designed and built by me my friends so no detail is overlooked or unintentional. This was our labor of love for a year and Im so excited to now be able to share it.

This beauty is a perfect blend of updated splendor and old world charm. Mere minutes away from Fremont, Mississippi, Alberta, Prescott, and Killingsworth, there is an infinite number of places to eat, drink, shop, and people watch. Easy freeway access makes other parts of Portland a quick drive, and if you want to get out into nature, that's not far off either! Relax on our comfy couches with a good book on those rainy Portland days, or enjoy some local brews on our quaint front porch!
