There's lush river swimming spots, lakes, waterfalls and mountains to explore. Our nearest beach is Aberdyfi, just 30mins away. 16mins drive to the epic Cadair Idris!

Cosy Cottage in Corris

Isfryn is a cosy semi detached former slate miners cottage, located on the edge of Corris. Corris is a small rural village with a village shop, cafe, pub and church. The cottage is traditionally furnished with wooden floors and beams, log burners in the sitting room and kitchen. Outside to the front is a raised sitting area with wonderful views over the Dulas Valley. To the rear is a small yard and to the side a log and bike shed. Travel cot, high chair, baby bath and fire guard are available.

Situated in over 2 acres of landscaped gardens, including 2 wildlife lakes, within 20 acres of fields, relax here, walk in the forest or explore the local coast and countryside. Because of our beautiful rural location, there are no shops or pubs within walking distance and mobile phone reception is limited.

Our gorgeous dog friendly bed cottage (formally the village wash house) has been sympathetically restored (summer 2021) and is ready to welcome guests. With your private patio to sit out on and enjoy the views of the Dyfi Forest and all that the area has to offer it's an easy choice to make! Sorry but we only accept kids over the age of 12 at Ty Golchi.
