Practical utilitarian space with a loft bed, shower/toilet a desk, wi-fi, microwave and a kettle. Underfloor heating keeps the place at a pleasant temperature even in the coldest periods. Clean linen, towels etc. It is listed for two people, sleeping in ONE double bed, but we can probably accommodate more, or two people not sharing the bed if they are happy to sleep on a blow-up mattress on the floor, more than two people are an additional £10 each per night, email me to discuss.

Glenbogle Lodge - Banchory

Glenbogle Lodge is a traditional Norwegian style wooden building located on the edge of the Blackhall forest just 2 miles drive from the centre of Banchory in Aberdeenshire. Accessed via a woodland road from Banchory, the lodge is situated in an elevated position and overlooks the River Dee to the front of the property and then garden and forest to the rear. The lodge has recently been renovated and refurbished to a high standard and includes a high quality hot tub outside.

Free Wi Fi. private Parking 4.pm arrival is normally requested but an earlier arrival time may be possible if the lodge is ready. Please just ask. Departure time is 10.am so that the lodge can be serviced in good time for next guests.

Ben MacDui is a large, comfortable lodge in a peaceful, rural location yet only five minutes drive from the bustling town of Banchory - and even closer to the village of Torphins. This three bedroomed lodge has an open plan kitchen/living/dining room with patio doors onto a covered deck and a wood burning stove for those chilly evenings!
